Fan Cut Out in Heat

Postby joshhull9 » Wed Jul 14, 2010 7:44 pm

I was driving today and i noticed my car started to overheat, i was alsmost home so when i got home i turned my car off i heard a noise under the hood. i looked and my anti-freeze was boiling in the coolant tank! I turned the key so the fan would come on and it didnt.. i even have a switch that i can manually turn it on and off, but still nothing.. It was really really hot outside today so could that have an effect on it? It is a stock fan so should i replace it? or is it fixable? any help is appreciated..

either a wiring problem or you burnt the fan motor itself out
